By: henzuurveld. on 08 Oct 08, 19:36:53 very lovely video. however, i prefer the real pierre henry works like orphee, the corticolart works, but also the bible parts. he did the four evngelists and of course the apocalypse de jean. his collaborations with others do sound a bit different than his solo works. listen to urban sax, spooky tooth or darius milhaud. perhaps the best introduction are the pieces with the founder of the musique concret pierre schaeffer. i also like the works by parmegiani, ferrari, philipot, mache and so on.

By: IsabelleCorbisier. on 20 Aug 08, 15:10:55 This excerpt comes from a Rtbf (Belgian French-speaking television) special they devoted to Tuxedomoon when they came to play in Liège in November 1980, at the time when they were recording their "Desire" LP in the United Kingdom. The reason why Winston Tong doesn't sing "Jinx" is that he wasn't around while they were recording their LP in the UK. He just flew in from San Francisco for a few days just to record his parts. Well make arrangements... saw them in Portland Oct 17, and they include it in this tour. Nice to have Martin on Guitar again. Great sound by Raymond, the V dot.

I'm seeing them live next week and I'd just die if they played this song.

2:54. This part sung on the original album The Maria Dimension was likely what first entralled me. Twenty albums later and I still find them in a special place.

yes, you are right, he is. I remember that goofball "glam guy" on horn getting freeky with the crowd with his spotlight lit-up sax, walking into the crowd hitting on chicks. I am confused about Dead Voices on Air as they opened for The Dots one time...but they never left the stage. What's that all about?.

One of my favourite songs by the Dots!

I think the goofball guy on the sax is also in Dead Voices On Air.

This must be a really hard song to do live. The studio recording sounds much better. I love this song.
