This band was so ahead of their time that it took 10 years for most people to recognize them. Even more ironic is its this age range that tends to be hung up on dam Lynard Skynard and Janice. Thank God for the progressive early group, the truly innovative post war hippies of the world. They are the ones that gave this awesome band their start. WHere are they?

Most people considered them a gimmick along with other bands like Devo. I think it's because they had a unique sound with crazy lyrics and videos. It was an interesting time in music with disco ending and mainstream rock getting boring. This band was something different and musically better than what most people gave them credit for.

No other band would ... By: gregrocker2. on 25 Nov 07, 03:27:07 No other band would play when the B's came to town because they wanted to go hear the new hybrid grunge surf sound Ricky created. Few have had such an influence, yet he was dead at 25, one of the first famous people to die of AIDS. They are equally talented as the girls apply ingenious synth effects to voice, while Keith picked up Ricky's guitar as he died.

Notice how kate keeps glancing down at her fingers to watch her fretting on the guitar. She can play and i believe she is playing the lower strings on the guitar to produce a bass effect.

It's called dancing, otherwise known as an outdated ritual performed by youth of previous generations. Might have something to do with the fact that music today is warmed-over dog shit.
By: 101Volts. on 16 Oct 08, 02:22:58
Ricky was, and still is, one of the most underrated guitarists. My favorite guitarist, too. I could go on for a long time about his work!
