Blame is on commodity/energy inflation's which have crept up on the governments faster than expected. It'll take agriculture industries time for them to catch up to the demand and consumptions levels which increased from China,India and Latin American areas and because ethanol is now classified as a source energy. In the mean time it hurts, particularly in the less developed countries.

Each year, as many as 50 thousand species become extinct, undoubtedly oftentimes in part due to the fact that certain resources ARE more scarce. Every day, 16,000 children (yes, not even including adults), die of hunger-related causes. I don't mean to sound like I'm supporting the Slow Food movement - because I don't - but it's really not helpful to just be totally ignorant of reality because of a Bible misinterpretation.

believe, the world never run out of food! God created this world and he said he will provide for every single living thing with what to eat, what to wear and where to sleep. They are huge animals under the sea --who provides for them? they are million of animals under the ground -where do they get what to eat?
