Hi WNanette. I'm ... By: MeganEMills. on 16 Aug 07, 04:52:08 Hi WNanette. I'm Megan, these were just put up under my hubby's name way back then. I only used one strand throughout in this demonstration. The 'other strand' effect is just what the stitch produces because of those yarn overs that get work together with another stitch all the time. In some of my patterns I use double-threads throughout but I treat them as if they are just one strand as in the above demo. Regs, Megs.

With the lock ... By: ClarkMills. on 02 Jul 07, 20:20:49 With the lock described here you can change the key count from 4 digits to 5 or 6 digits as you get a couple of spare "red" pins to swap out the blue ones if desired. I'm guessing that 6 digits would be optimal (given 13 keys) but people are used to 4 digit PINs. After that I expect people will start putting in silly codes (123456) or writing them down somewhere handy.

By the way, everybody, this was put up as an embedded video to help people with one of my patterns - it was never meant as a stand-alone video tutorial on the stitch. One day when I get time I'll see if I can do more of it for you. For the pattern search for Megan Mills webpage and look at the Daisy Stitch bootee page. Regs, Megs.

Rough test of rotoscoping for wifey, full of bugs but still fun and a proof of concept. Tools: Gimp, mencoder, mplayer. HowTo to come in anyone is interested.
Thought bubble via rotoscope test.
I need better registration and I haven't bothered doing the reflection in the mirror. Indeed you may be able to see the marker in the mirror.
