No, Emirates planes have 8 inch LCD TV's that shows you what's in front of the plane, and under the plane, with it's 2 cameras, I remember 3 years ago when I went to Bahrain we flew one of those.

well then, wouldn't use expect that if somone uses a radio. Was anybody using something that did not have any wirless connection of any type? if not thenn rethink your comment please. The Spirit Airlines Steward (actually about three of the) all saw me recording the landing and takeoffs. Tell me, why didnt they care???? Maybe if i had been using a radio of some sort, they would of care, but they didnt.

So there are two incidences. Neither a crash but could have been with the right conditions. IFR in cloud with no directional gyros could end in disaster, lucky this was in clear air. You aren't even a pilot??? I guessed not because you are posting stupid flight sim videos and you say you're an air traffic controller. At least you should be thinking of safety if you are in fact a "real" air traffic controller and take your job seriously like the rest of us professionals.

-Jan93 an aircraft lost all directional gyros. -Capt told flight attendant to go tell all passengers to turn off electronic devices.About 25 passengers with portable radios listening to football and 1passenger was also using a lap top. Within 2 minutes of devices off, the gyros had swung back to their correct heading. Later, the Bronco fans covertly resumed their use of radios, again the directional gyros malfunctioned. The radios were confiscated and no further problems were experienced.

fk off sht for brains, I am a military pilot and take safety very seriously because I don't just have my life but the lives of many in my hands at any one time. Sure there is no evidence YOU see, but there is evidence that electical devices do effect aircraft systems. I have had my stabilator fail when someone in the back got a text message. This doesn't happen everytime but it can happen on the rare occasion. So would you like me to crash into your house just because of a mobile phone? RETARD!

after that going for an advanterous ride on a moto cross bike across the dunes then riding a camel before my day is done. second day going dune bashing. third day going to abu dhabi and taking a city tour there. the other days ill be going to the mall of the emirates and other stuff taking fotos. then finally i return back home at like 9:30am. are these good activities to do in dubai. can som1 help me out or recommed more stuff thanks

im traveling to dubai next year in july 2009 it will be for my 18th b-day ive always wanted to go to the middle east / arab wrlds. here is my plan of what i wanna do when i get there, ill be staying a week at a cheap ok hotel 2-3 stars 80$ish a night. im flying on emirates hopefully. when i arrive i want to go buy some souveniers. ill arrive at like 6:30so theres not much time to do anything else than do a bit of shopping i guess. next day take a city tour of dubai and visit the forts and stuff
