If it's not been done, you should install the ASIO driver (Windows) or CoreAudio driver (mac). Both are available from the Digidesign website (and should come with the original installation discs).
The only thing is that your computer will not recognise it once you turn on your PT software, in which case the Mbox will become exclusive to the PT system.

Actually I believe you'll find the Republic of Ireland has the best standard of living and one of the lowest crime rates, Also despite being heavily religious (predominantly Roman Catholic) the government manages to keep itself secular (A must in any democracy and something that despite being in the constitution of the United States, you have failed to achieve).
