People eat meat because they don't realize that the 5 minutes of eating a burger equals bodily harm, another tree in the amazon being cut down for grazing, and land/water pollution (not to mention a lifetime of suffering for an animal).

The fact that you eat cows but not dogs is arbitrary. In India cows are sacred... in China they use dogs for fur. In Korea they supposedly eat dogs.
If you wouldn't eat your friend's dog but you'd eat a dog with no owner, this means that you care about your friend, but not the dog itself.
I imagine that most vegetarians would eat meat for survival. That would be natural.

Last week was a life changing experience for me. My friends and I had decided to hunt wild pigs. I had a bad feeling but went along with it. We found a group of them and opened fire. In India cows are sacred... in China they use dogs for fur. In Korea they supposedly eat dogs. If you wouldn't eat your friend's dog but you'd eat a dog with no owner, this means that you care about your friend, but not the dog itself. I imagine that most vegetarians would eat meat for survival. That would be natural.
