First, it starts with a guitar playing in a minor key, which is following the formula establish for a dark, brooding sound; the only problem here is the guitarist sounds like he started playing yesterday, and the sound, is like transistor radio shit. Then the "singing", if you can call it that, starts, and it sounds like a bullfrog croaking on acid. The synth work is just horrible shitty icing on the whole schlock cake. This is so passe.

I love the White Stripes and even I know that Meg isn't a good drummer. Jack has said himself when he was pissed at her that she was a gimmick. It's true. He picked her for her "Childlike inexperienced" technique. Jack is a great drummer. He actually started out in drummer in his first band. Check the new James Bond music video if you don't believe that. Meg is hott, and she can keep tempo. That's all Jack needed.

Eric Clapton was sick with the flu when they recorded this, but when snaps into that solo, man it's amazing. If I didn't already play the guitar, this solo'd make me want to play.
Also, I hadn't noticed how much Clapton's voice had inproved since the 60's, but it's an amazing Change.

As much as I love this, I feel that without the wah-wah, it ain't the same. I mean... It was always one of the most definitive wah-wah solos in rock history. Without it... It ain't the same. :( Although, I absolutely love this solo anyway! :D One of his best in recent times, if not THE best.

One of the all time great bands. No one can take anything awy from Eric Clapton & Ginger Baker...But who wote and sang most thier material? Jack Bruce, a fantstic bass player. Did you see when he played bass in Indianapolis for a guitar wizzard, The Cajun Kid? He was great!
