That's not what he's saying. Commercialized and Supersized in that instance refers to the way it looks, not the way it's advertised. He says Barbados is unique because it offers a 'unique fusion of African and British cultures' - dont most islands in the caribbean have a fusion of African and British cultures. He also talks about Barbados being an island which 'hasnt been commercialised and supersized from even being caribbean anymore'- Barbados is one of the most built up and tourist orientated places in the caribbean, so what is he talking about.

Any place!! I think the best place to learn Spanish is Medellin. Or you can pick a small city like Manizales (with more that 7 Universities), Armenia or Pereira.
