it's a dark comedy, a satire. it's supposed to be slightly humorous. and thought provoking as well. i watched this movie last night and i admit it gave me strange dreams b/c i lay thinking about it before i fell asleep. i find it interesting to think about how if women really did have toothed vaginas that became active when they were being "wronged" or "deceived", i'd be willing to bet that 50 - 75% of the male population would be walking around penis-less. just MY thought....
