when someone is talking about vector art in photoshop or illustrator, its pretty much line artwork that can be resized with losing resolution. its good for business/printing which requires hi-images.

One problem with my book though, page 113 is inserted where 115 should be, printers mistake apparently, and that is the very page where the author is describing the controversy over who really started bluegrass, I was so disappointed to find that page missing. Bluegrass is country, just a different style, just like western is a different style of country, but they all derived from the same idea, and commonly use the same instruments, I see nothing wrong with mixing it up a bit, I prefer string instruments myself, I am not into the electric instruments. My style of music is george strait or randy travis, but I recently picked up playing the banjo, have always loved the sound.

You can tell I'm no fan of the drums! Well, at least not the way drums are typically played. How do you describe the sound a drum makes, other than "beating" or perhaps "thumping"? "Drumming" of course works, but not in a sentence like "...kick the drum drummer ... off the stage!" Maybe "drum assailant"? there's a difference between beating the drums and playing the drums. when you beat the drums you just pound the pure fire out of them without any sense of rythym or timing. when you play the drums...you make music with it as the drummer (my friend Mike Kennedy) does. i respect your opinion about not blending bluegrass with country...but you have to have something that will attract people who don't dig bluegrass so that maybe they will get into bluegrass. I think that's what Ricky did here.

I'm not sure I could do what Theroux does, as a documantarian he has to be completely objective and non-judgemental, but some of the things he looks at are so sick I'd really feel the urge to vocally condemn them in front of the camera. If Pen & Pixel's work is that bad, then why don't you Pen & Pixel detractors show YOUR work?
