Company of Heroes should not be relied upon as an accurate source as to the effectiveness of panzers or any other fighting unit for that matter.

that's right.tiger would stop T34 at 2000m or more , T34 would stop tiger from about 300-400m,but not face to face combat.T34 was very simple to make,use or repair which u can't say about complicated and very heavy tiger.and used tactic was very important too!

Though Panzers were good fighting vehicles, it is untrue to say that the Wehrmacht was vastly superior to any single Allied force. For example, the Germans were soundly defeated in Alsace against the 3rd Armor division even though their panther tanks were technically advantageous to the Allied shermans. Their defeat was due as much to lack of training and organization as to supply shortages.

although i am not aware of that certain incident, i have heard of much more horrific tales of allied war atrocities. mainly committed by the russians and other communist partisan forces. adolf may have been crazy, but he was nowhere near the level of insanity that stalin clearly was at. and the fact that the allies sided with him, the worst butcher in all of human history ever, the far greater evil, is something you should think about.

Well...for the sake of all of us, we aren't speaking german...to have a lunatic leader as adolf was...surely neither our grandparents had the chance to live... In the tremendous massacres that where made, to kill 50 war prisoners and incinerate them, just because they just dare to escape, it speaks for itself. That the memory of the Great Escape can never fall into oblivion, in order to remember the brave war prisoners and the cruelty and madness of Nazis.

Tiger would destroy a T 34 in 1 shot. A Tiger is much more better armoured and it packs 88mm firepower. But tigers are much slower and T 34 were much cheaper.

He was just trying to give the German people the impression that this wasn't just a war to exterminate entire races, the 1 million European soldiers were mostly Romanian and other puppet states, which weren't all that reliable.
