Uy, traducir todos y cada uno sería difícil. La historia es así- Este chico va a la primera guerra mundial, pierde la cara, y las articulaciones, así que todo lo que se escucha, los gritos, son como que "su mente". El tipo solo desea morir, pero no puede comunicarse con el mundo exterior. Hasta que su padre, en una de sus halucinaciones, le recuerda que puede usar el codigo morse para comunicarse con el mundo exterior. Ese es un de los puntos clímax del video.

Clips of the 1971 film version were used in the music video for the Metallica song "One". The song itself comes from an idea presented by guitarist/singer James Hetfield to drummer Lars Ulrich that was very similar to the book. Instead of enduring a long and arduous negotiation for rights to the film, Metallica decided to buy the movie outright, in order to use it in their video. Yes, you`re right!
