Yup, heard that (suggest you listen to the full speech). JFK wasnt talking about "Secret Societies" he was talking about openness in government and the Communists. He was warning about allowing governments from covering up information and activities (as had been done with the Bay of Pigs invasion). JFK's Vice President and some of his cabinet and advisors were Masons, and KNOWN to be Masons. At the time it was common for Masonic Lodges to print their activities and officers in newspapers.

I know the picture you are talking about. No. Why? Because about 200 years ago the Catholic Church banned its members from becoming Masons and from Masons from joining the Church. I see often how people say "Oh my gosh thats a Masonic handshake". When if you look at hundreds of handshakes they are the same as what has been pointed out as a "Masonic Handshake". The handshake has been around for a long time and there are many types, some look like the Masonic handshake when they arent.

Without Masonry there would probably be no constitutions. Much of the principles in the United States (rights, freedom of speech, religious freedom and separation of church and state) are from Masonic ideals. At the time (sadly) no other country had these concepts. Masonry creates a universal Brotherhood of men who are willing to live by the ideas of morality, honesty, faith, charity, respect, and friendship.

Although Blair might be a Night of Malta (havent researched Malta yet), he isnt a Mason. Why? To be a Mason you MUST take the 3 degrees from the Symbolic or "Blue" Lodges, there is no other way. The Skull and Bones is a Yale fraternity with no ties to Masons besides possibly a few who are members of both. Bush again has never join the Masons (fortunately) and could never become a 33rd degree Mason. There are no "higher up" Masons only officers elected by the Brothers every few years.

Albert Pike never made the statement you (and others) state that he did. A man using the pen name of Leo Taxil claimed that Pike made the statement. It would also have been difficult for Pike to cross the Atlantic ocean in the early years of steam boats at the age of 79. He has a statue in Washington DC because of his work for the Scottish Rite and work for the reconstruction era after the Civil War (the reason he was in Washington DC and stayed there till his death).

Why is there no record of their membership and why when the Communists assume power would they ban Masonic Lodges, Masons from office, persicute Masons, and go against a basic Masonic tenet, religious belief? Nope. None of them are Masons. Why? Well Lenin and Stalin were both Aethiests. Masonry does not allow Aethiests. Hitler caused the greatest persecution and death of Masons (laong with Jews). And neither Bush nor Blair are Masons. Bush is a member of Skull and Bones a Yale fraternity and Blair just became a Catholic (the Catholic church does not like its members being Masons). I would suggest that you do more research and not go with the most hate spewing and "conspiracy" sources.
