Yes he is slow, but the exercise is designed for concentration on the line of the stroke. Speed is secondary in this exercise. One of the things that he does have is good footwork, which is the key to speed. you quicken the footwork, and your slow blow doesn't matter as much. You won't die if your opponent can't hit you.

haha yea i own a couple rifles. i got a couple 30-30's, .375 rifle(weird catridge, call it big boy....it's a boomer), 12 ga 20 ga and 4 some .22's. those are the only ones really worth mentioning. i really want a .223 cuz it's basically cheaper, and i need more range being that i'm at the limit of the .22s. and the 30-30's and .375 are lever action top ejecting so i can't mount a scope on them...where it would be on the rifle slides every time you cock it....bummer...

Everyone loves him, but hes not full asian, born in America, and his style was made IN AMERICA! One thing you all must remember, is the katana is a very basic weapon form. You do heavy slashes and stabs in the traditional form. But hey, im sure with years of practice and skill means that this man cant use a katana at all, can he. All he does is know the perfect balance of it to do the flips. but hey, go watch a guy do a single heavy slash. That will win a show competition of extreme martial arts! And yes, the sword is a stage weapon, most competitions dont allow real weapons.

It took a really big gun to beat the sword. A .50 cal was used as an anti aircraft gun during world war II, and is still in use today mounted on top of vehicles like the hummer. Yeah it didn't break but did you see what those bullet fragments did to the cinderblocks behind it? That's the exact same way that a fragmentation grenade works but on those little bullet frags are moving 2700fps. So even if some Japanese ninja can line up a sword perfectly with a bullet the fragments will still kill him. Trust me no ninja is gonna just shake off a 750 grain bullet hitting them with over 500foot-pounds of force at 2700fps

Actually, the katana was used primarily by the samurai. Sorry but this katana is actually very cheap and there's nothing fine about it. It has a fake same (ray skin),black habaki which is put only on a cheap replicas i don't think you'll see it on any of better katana's. The blade is not hand sharpened ,all together maybe 50 to 100 bucks worth.

Well I know that Katanas didn't have edges like saws.That really would have been stupid. But this Katana hasn't got an edge like a saw. I may wear glasses but they do their job very well.And Katanas WERE black. It was the most common design for the saya and the handle. Even the blades were black sometimes, because assassins held them over fire. The soot covered it and then the black wouldn't shine in the dark, when there was an assassination at night. It's a well known trick.
