A DAY IN HUNTINGDON

A walk through the town of Huntingdon, birth place of Oliver Cromwell. Huntingdon is not far by train from London and a pleasant bus ride to nearby Cambridge. We follow High Street and cross the river and down The Avenue to Post Street to Godmanchester and the Chinese Bridge. A walk along the river to the largest meadow in England was a pleasant surprise.

Punk, i think your missing the point. Yes, I can imagine it getting frustrating to have a writhing beagle not allowing you to inject it with something to make the BETTER, but not so much when your injecting them to cause even more pain and suffering. A bit of patience is the least these idiots can have. Half of these tests that are being carried out have already been done before on lots of different animals- there is simply no point to it, and yet it's still happening over and over.

It's not necessarily bad medicine - it happens in vet hospitals EVERYWHERE. Beagles are terrible hospital patients. Anyway, just my thoughts. And I'm still against animal testing.

When you're performing venipuncture (drawing blood) on a squiggly, writhing animal, and you miss their vein because they're moving too much, it gets frustrating. You waste needles, syringes, and more importantly - you can damage muscle tissues, blood vessels, skin, and inflict unnecessary pain on your patients. If you've tried to draw blood 8 times on an animal that just won't stay still, it's aggravating. Sometimes they need to be man-handled or yelled at so they stay still.

I have worked in emergency veterinary medicine for 3 years, and I think animal testing is stupid, unnecessary, and needs to be stopped. While not supporting this company or this video, I must say I was surprised to find they use beagles. Beagles may be submissive, but they're notoriously dumb, uncooperative, and EXTREMELY vocal. Beagles will whine and cry and wiggle that way even for a simple procedure like a nail trim.

Pure evil carried out for profit, the people working in these labs are desensitised to the suffering, they cannot possibly have any compassion for animals because otherwise they would not be doing a job that requires complete indifference to other species and the obvious pain they feel. Don't buy products tested on animals, every time you buy cruelty free you make a difference!

HLS recently tested splenda, which killed every single animal they administered it to. THIS HAPPENS EVERY SINGLE DAY IN EVERY PART OF THE WORLD And these people should die.
