I suspect on the reality vs rhetoric, you are correct. I said in the days after the election that Obama was about to get a crash course in painful reality. As for the media bias, it is so pervasive that, unless the alternative media (blogs, talk radio, places like this) beat the drum, people will believe whatever the major media tells them.

Obama and his necessity to attach himself to reality instead of rhetoric hyperbole will be the great vindication of President George W. Bush... mark my words. Do your homework on Hitchens before making such a blanket statement. Hitchens' objection to Hillary goes back into her days as First Lady (reference to one reason in this video). Chris Matthews was a supporter of Albright as SoS so that argument falls as well. No, Hitchens and Mattews express reservations, and you want to believe opposition to her is some form of misogyny. If Hillary wants to play in the Executive branch again, she deserves scrutiny.
