An awesome solo from woodstock 1994, brings back memories, i believe its from the black album 2 years and a half tour..awesome to see it, i love it so much, especially the unfrogiven's solo, such a nice tone and feeling to it

question -- does he mean to purposely "overshoot" those first two bends near :55, up to a flatted second (B flat.. 1 1/2 step bend) rather than up to the key the song is in, A (1 step bend) ?? it's more dramatic here, w hich is fine and good... but on the record the bends sound only slightly sharp of a full step bend... which is even more annoying, as it thus sounds halfway between A and B flat on the album lol, rather than definitively B flat as heard here. blah

Amazing. Bob Rock was talking about, he agreed that he was a jerk, but if he wasn't a jerk, this solo wouldn't be the "amazing unforgiven solo". And by the way, ppl say Bob changed Metallica's sound, that's not true, they wrote the songs, and Bob made them the best songs they can be.

i think it depends on your opinion...like slipknot is metal...but a different kind. just the way they play is just so different. im personally not a fan of slipknot but other metal bands are just more crazy in my opinion. all good though. :)

=S Because he doesn't shred the whole thing, the solo sucks? It takes more than speed to make a solo, it has to be WRITTEN WELL TOO, which is a HELL of a lot harder than just doing sweep arpeggios and fast picking/fingering on simple shit. I get pissed when people can look at a rock LEGEND and say he sucks. What the fuck have you done people? Exactly. Shut your ignorant fucking mouths.
