This is how I understand the cheese/milk thingy: cheese is aged and matured milk = symbol for Laura Dern (or her acting) since she's is an aged and matured actress. Without her Inland Empire wouldn't be what it is, because of her brilliant and experienced acting. AND maybe the fact that Lynch got the idea for the movie after he meet Dern in his driveway and she asked if they should start working together again (though this is kinda speculative).

The car stays on the ground due to the centre of mass being so los and close to the ground, and I think you meant it could fly upside down in theory. Unless this case is moving, which it is not, it's just it's mass that's keeping it secure.

Well firstly, the one in Wichita Falls was an F4. And secondly, an F5 still isn't enough to rip off grass (unless it was tall enough). I was in the 1999 F5 in Bridge Creek and Moore also, and saw plenty of grass in the dammage path after it hit. And btw, this one is hard to tell since it missed just barely. At most, a weaker F2 or a stronger F1.

That's a trick US uses. Testing in US is very limited, 0.04% of the cows killed comparing to Japan who does test all cows after killed including blood test and other many different technics. When only 0.04% is tested, how can you confirm it's safe??? There have been 8 cases where killed cows had mad cow disease in Japan thought they don't feed animal food to cows in Japan. Now, imagine how many dows might have had the disease in US cows if they do testing on all cows.

In elementry school we had a "science experement" involving tootsie pops. The wrapper was supposed to be the earth's crust, the pop the mantle and the tootsie rool center the core. And we weren't allowed to bite it untill we got to the core. I managed to do this, but I didn't realise untill after that I should've counted. ...
