while i agree the people who follow the buses are idiots, there's a serious design flaw in these bumpers rising from the road while a car's driving over them. i'm glad this is here in the uk and not in the us cause god only knows how many lawsuits there'd be.

I doubt they know it. This is not a bus lane, but the entrance to it. If you were right behind the bus, you wouldn't be able to see neither a sign nor the yellow markings on the street. Let alone the pillars.

they are not faulty, those "obstacles" are there so that only buses can pass. It is a bus route only...so the "stupid drivers" are stupid because they are not allowed to be their and they know it.

I don't get the dim comments here. Why are they stupid? Obviously the design of those pillars is faulty. Would you expect an obstacle to appear from nowhere when following a car like that??
