well how i do it is i just cut the yarn im working with. then i tie the new yarn on it. it does show a little bump but idc. so once im finished with the new yarn i cut it and tie the old one back on keep doing it and doing it until ur done. or u can just buy yarn with multiple colors easy as that.

I'm desperately trying to find a video that shows how to change colours in a scarf, just simple knitting and purling with a tutorial on changing colours. thanks.

Hi WNanette. I'm Megan, these were just put up under my hubby's name way back then. I only used one strand throughout in this demonstration. The 'other strand' effect is just what the stitch produces because of those yarn overs that get work together with another stitch all the time. In some of my patterns I use double-threads throughout but I treat them as if they are just one strand as in the above demo. Regs, Megs.

Smooth, effortless, efficient, lovely. (And the best part of this instructional video is there's no: "Hi, I'm Kelsey, I've been knitting for ten years, I'm a member of several kitting groups... however, as I show you how to knit/purl, I'm not tensioning my yarn through my fingers...") LOL OK, that was brutal, sorry Kelsey. -_- ClarkMills - Would you do another video clip, showing us how many yarn strands you use and where, please? Many thanks! Wendolyn Ramsbottom
