For the people thats asking, NO its not possible for that car to survive, because once the front wheels of the plane fell apart, the plane landed full blow down onto the car, that plane weights tons and tons, and if you've watched a decent action movie in your life, you would have seen a guy fall from a building and onto a car, and the car being shattered from the blow of the 80kg human. So its not physically possible for a billion ton plane to land on that jeep, and not crush it.

You're absolutely right. My point was just that I think you are able to take off and land without flaps, given that the runway is long enough and the runway condition is good, and I'd say that would go for the larger airplanes as well. It would however not be very comfortable, because you'd have to land at a very high speed so you're not stalling (perhaps high enough to break the undercarriage, which is probably the reason why you don't do it).

actually some aircraft, most commonly, the larger aircraft are type certified to take off with ALWAYS using flaps. This is much more common in transport category aircraft. A cessna has a big enough wing and short enough take off roll where it is not a big deal. Soft field or short field takeoffs will use flaps though

You don't have to use the flaps when you take off, nor when you land. The ground roll gets shorter when you use flaps, but your climb rate gets lower. This time the pilot knew he had a sufficient length of the runway and therefore concluded that he didn't need to use his flaps.

I have over 4000 hours total time and I can tell you that any flightsim is harder than the real thing. Flightsim helps if you practice actually going through procedures like checklists. It is most useful for IFR training. Some of your IFR training will most likely be in a flight simulator that is much less sophisticated than your "flightsim 2007." By the way there's not much to taking off, especially in a fixed gear fixed pitch airplane, just add power, if it's running, it WILL take off.

Its probably easier controlling an aircraft in real life, from my experience. The difficulty comes with learning all the different checks, eventualities if something goes wrong (you may have to consider a range of things upon landing, in case something goes wrong at the last second) and controls in tough weather. Getting used to a yaw is also weird at first. You dont usually get random engine fires on FS, nor all the controls to deal with them properly.

Well , i could live with that plane taking off and perhapps landing if i could see this in you video , which I don't. But doing all the acrobatics withut causing fatal structural damage due to G-pull on that "paper-plane" is a litlle too much. I think . I would be more convinced if I was to see one continues shot of this plane landing and roling closer tu the camera to see the pilots face . ONE CONTINUES SHOT

No doubt he's good, but my grandpa used to do maneuvers this comlicated. He built a few trick planes, but mostly 1/4 scale WWII models (well at least when his arthritis wasn't too bad, he doesn't any more). This guy is good, but I know there's some better pilots out there (I've seen them), they just don't get recognized. (No, my grandpa was not one of them, he wrecked many a plane). Good vid though.

This is absolutely LEGENDARY... She is so beautiful, so full of passion and energy... She is like a goddess, standing in front of nearly half a million people and making that wonderfull unforgetable performace.
