Yea, it is... I tell you what, I don't care what kind of mic they come out with for the kick drum, the SM57 can sound better than any mic built. I love his skills though on the cover up to make the sound, that was the way to do it before the megaphone gimmick

SM57 with a lot of tape to keep the cord from falling off. You can tell by the lack of wind screen when he removes his hand from the top of the mic.

Rock out to their music man. Jerk off to that band Girls Aloud, not Faith No More. Cheers

I don't understand why Patton and Gould don't make no music no more together... that would be just Epic..

This is purely amazing!!! Underrated is the very least you can say. Incredible live band.

saw them in 1992(3X angeldust-tour) and in 1997 during their "funeral tour", also displayed here. In 1997 they played the best, like here.

I was at this gig (showing my age I know) only went because Faith No More were playing. My sympathies go out to anyone who never saw this band live. ABSOLUTELY THE GREATEST BAND EVER!!!

most under-rated band of the 90's period. i wanna fuckin' reunion so i can go see them live, as i never got the opportunity to do so.

I was born in 82, so i was around when FNM was new. What pisses me off is that i didnt "Discover" them until last year. What a fucking moron i was with Bush CDs. I wish i could travel back in time to 1995 and call myself a faggot for not seeing FNM while i could.

one of my top 5 bands of all time, and they always have been, and always will.

A fucking great band! Great two last albums, great music, sound, lyrics, and image, they never sold out, they were excentric and intelligent at the same time.

no, I believe it and I know that thing about the pumpkins ... Guess he's retired now then ... But I hope that Big Sick Jim will be back someday!
By: juntao1919. on 29 Oct 08, 17:37:45
Yeah, quite literally. I read an article a few years back about how he's sick of the music business and aside from the odd track here and there - he just lives on his farm growing pumpkins and rebuilding old tractors. I can't find the evidence to back this up... but magazines haven't been known to lie in the past have they?! Haha
By: Wacke666. on 29 Oct 08, 15:58:13
rebuilding tractors?
By: juntao1919. on 19 Oct 08, 23:55:49
Just to clarify.. I know this is Jon Hudson on guitar by this time - I just can't let go of Angel Dust though.
By: juntao1919. on 19 Oct 08, 23:51:29
Too much of a forward thinking band to ever re-hash their old ideas... Plus I hear Jim Martin is living on a farm rebuilding tractors these days... It's a shame, but their influence will live on even without having to remind us of it.

HELL YEAH FUCKING RIGHT!
