Nice little video bro. *only one thing (FYI) the green onions you referred to as "shallots"...this is not correct. Often green onion are called scallions. However "shallots" are a completely different thing. They are like a cross between a small onion and garlic. But still...good video!

But remember, spare ribs ain't pork back ribs....a lot of us rib boys like spare ribs because there's more fat and flavor and better yet, finger pickin'. Have you ever tried bread that takes hours to rise? It is the long rise time that gives it its unique flavor that you cant get from the two hour start to finish bread that most of the people make. Tamar1973, have him try this out! It is awesome crusty, rustic bread. Like mentioned before, after proofing 12 hrs, shape the loaf and let rise another 1 1/2 to 2 hrs. I use a cast iron fry pan and an inverted metal mixing bowl....the crust is out of this world. Good luck, and enjoy!

Yes, you should let it rise again for 2 hours after you roughly shape it - don't worry about shaping it perfectly. It looks more rustic imperfect. I do not use the towel to cover: I place the shaped dough on the floured lid of the bowl the dough was in, and cover it with the inverted bowl for the final rise. Even simpler!! The NY Times has the exact recipe and Mark Bittman has a follow-up article sharing his variations. Just search the NYT website. Good luck!

Any yeast should be just fine, although instant yeast probably works nicely because you can mix it nicely into the flour before adding the water so that's well-distributed. If you're using active dry yeast, I'd "start" it, then mix it as well as you can into the water, then add it all at once. No clue if you're using compressed yeast.

that looks easier than I have ever seen how. In the 60's,up near Eastport,Maine, I had gone out for lobster, only back then, you pegged them closed. In Calis,Maine,we dug piss clams,while the tide was going out. Never thought back then to cook 'em like that. Steam the clams, boil the lobsters. You got it in one easy step. This, i gotta try!!! I Just woke up feeling a bit under the weather from drinking beer last night and the first video i watched was Chris crocker in a weding dress ranting about his rights or some crap and it made me loose my cookies and for real . So i wanted to see something that might make me feel better so i looked up lobsters and this came up . OMG thank you for this video . And a word of advice never watch chris crocker with a hangover theres no future in it. i am going to cook this when i feel better .

too much time consuming and lots of food involved. the beauty of recipie is to use as few ingredients and just the right time. Like i said...too many cooks( 2 here are too many) doesnt solve the purpose. You should see the vah re vah chef..tho he is pro, he is quick n perfect

Y'all be sure to give this "stuffing" recipe a try. 4 eggs 4 cups bread crumbs 1/2 cup chopped celery 1/2 envelope Lipton's onion soup 1 cup uncooked popcorn pinch of salt sage or other seasonings to taste Beat eggs and mix all other ingredients. Stuff turkey. Bake at 375 for three hours. When the three hours are up, get the hell out of the kitchen because that stuffing is going to blow that turkey's ass right out of the oven.
