kimchi jiggae is easy to make, but my recipe would is more simple, i just use onions, kimchi, chilli paste, flakes, tuna and tofu.. u can try it..it tastes good as well..but i never use sugar or salt..as i feel the chilli paste has sufficient flavour..

hey hellknight11, what's great about this loaf is what ever ya got in the fridge works. The Sirloin if it's 90% lean can be a problem if it's grilled too long -it tends to dry out and break apart if you don't add a binder like eggs or mayo. I tried this dish and at first I was a bit skeptical about the tomato puree, however I decided at the last minute to just follow the recipe. Voila, it was the best stew I have ever prepared, also the first :-). It was perfect! My favorite stroganoff dish and a dish I know I can knock out very easily on a Sunday afternoon. My meat was tough so I cooked it a bit longer, about four hours and when it was done it was so tender it melted in my mouth. Bon appetit.

Okay, cool down. I am aware that there are as many recipes for boeuf Stroganoff as there are russian cooks. Tell you something: I grew up in a neighbourhood with a lot of russian immigrants. The mom of my best friend made the best Bortschtsch, Boeuf Stroganoff, Pelmeni and so on. She always added diced little cornichons and sour cream at the end. Let's not fight over it. If you want to know more, I recommend August Escoffier's "Guide Culinaire", where Boef Stroganoff was first described.

There are a ton of different variants on stroganoff, many of which consider the tomato mandatory. I believe some of the early Russian recipes call for tomato, and they invented the dish, so they should be qualified to descrobe a "real" stroganoff. Did you just make the thing about pickles up on the spot? I've never heard of that being part of the dish, and I can't imagine it would actually be any good. But hey- do what you like.

We've never tried peas in this recipe, but sounds interesting. Let us know how it turns out if you try it. Maybe it will be so good that it will be your signature dish!! Matter Paneer is usually made with just onions and tomato gravy. Some restaurants use heavy cream to give it extra richness.

I tried this today and it was really good! I used a stainless steel pan so it stuck to the bottom and didn't get crispy but it still tasted amazing. Next time i will use non-stick. I can't wait to try more recipes from you. Thanks so much, your videos are really helpful and entertaining!

Thanks Maangchi :) I made another one today and it turned out much better. I used a little less salt and I split the batter in half so I could spread it out thinner. I need more practice on flipping it though. I killed the corner of my pancake when i tried to flip it 2x lol.

Watching this was painful. Don't get me wrong-when it comes to Indian food, You gals kick ass, but please leave the Italian food to the Italians. First, I would NEVER use sauce from a can, nor a jar. Yes, helpful in a pinch, but flavorless. Second, You should always end with a layer of sauce, cook at a higher temp (400-425) and add the cheese on top for the last 20 minutes or so. Third, don't ever cover a lasagna, it makes it watery. That said, I love Your vids on Indian cuisine. Thank You!

Thanks : ) Interesting little variations to the standard veg lasagna. One thing I couldn't do without would be fresh grated nutmeg to the spinach, or nutmeg/mace in bechamel/ricotta. You've used red chilli flakes, but fresh ground black pepper as well would not be overkill to me : )

If your knife blade bends and need for the sharpening rod, you have a wrong knife. Good blade edges are hard enough, it should chip instead of bending under abuse.

The 'stainless steel coating' that you speak of is Chromium(III) oxide, the shiny stuff. Before i prove you wrong, I'd like to mention simple facts about Chromium(III) oxide. It is a thin layer between the metal and its environment that forms much faster than the iron(III) oxide, which is the red stuff. When I mean fast, I mean minutes. I love tabouli salad! However, I make it differently. I make it with just parsely, 2 med cucumbers, 1 tomatoe, 1/4 cup diced red onion, 2 stalks celery, teas. garlic powder, 1 part lemon juice, 1 part canola oil and some dried mint. Most importantly I subract the bulgar wheat and add chick peas, its so delicious!

Olive oil is a wonderful thing but NOT for frying meat of any kind. You can use almost any other type of oil, but olive oil WILL make your make stick to the pan as you see here and it also sprays you with hot drops of oil from the pan from start to finish. I suggest using e.g. sesame oil or sunflower oil instead.

GREAT! But you shouldn't clean the pan on the inside with soap ore scratch it. Because then everything will stick to the bottom each time. There is a way to prepare a pan in such a manner that nothing will stick to it,but i dont feel like explaining that all.Start by changing the way you clean the inside of the pan.Best to do that is when the pan is still hot from the stove,turn on the hot water, take a hard brush, the harder the better, and start cleaning but no soap ore anything else. Mouthwatering! I like the idea of just using thigh meat. If you don't like parsley and basil, the "Joy of Cooking" recipe calls for marjoram and thyme instead. If you chop up the mushrooms, they'll shrink and vanish in the sauce (or worse, stick to the bottom of the pan). So adding them at the end like this seems like a great idea.

Recipe looks delicious. But she needs to do more to those mushrooms than simply "wipe them with a towel." I make sure to wash them well in cold water and rinse them in a shallow bowl of cold water before slicing for my cacciatore. Other than that it looks good!
