Ummm. Reality check. Snow Patrol's original version is AMAZING, but a fair amount of singer could sing that. Now, the way Leona does it - perhaps 1 (Christina Aguilera), maybe 2 (Celine Dion) other singers on the planet are vocally capable of doing what she did. (Whitney probably would have been able to in her prime, and Mariah's voice is simply too high and squeaky for this song, but she could certainly do it in a higher key).

I agree, I like both versions. It depends what your taste in music is anyway. I'm a pop fan, so I prefer Leona's cover, but that doesn't mean I think it's better. Snow Patrol's version is awesome too. I like the instrumentation of the chorus of the Snow Patrol version better.

I'm not going to compare his version and Leona's version because they are both brilliant. Leona makes the song sound soulful and emotional, whilst these guys make it more of a "rock" song. The lyrics are brilliant though. xx
