Here's a thought: Save $700 dollars, even if it seems much, work hard for a month of 2, and buy the upcoming pod x3 pro (rack mound) its like having 2 pod xt pro (or bass pod xt pro), a ux2 recording device and pod farm platinum plug in (all the amps, cabinets, effects guitar-bass-vocals) plus all the inputs and outputs U need... in one device. I think the next step for line 6 is putting a a coffee machine on these stuff or something :) they've done some seriously great work this year...

Hey dude ! Line6 GearBox or Pod Farm runs with MAC OS (tiger or leopard), or Windows (XP SP2 and Vista), hardware minimum requirements are - 512m ram, 1gb free space hd, pentium 4 1.2ghz processor). I believe that the standalone software version runs only with line6 audio hardware installed (suchs toneport), and the plugin version should run with any audio hardware and audio software (anyone can confirm for us)? do you have the gearbox plugin ? i've red that the owners of the gearbox plugin will be able to get it for free. so at least it means it works with the toneport (i'm myself using a ux2) but anyway even without it it doesn't really makes a difference, the best thing is the look here, even if the new rig system is a good improvement

The package comes with what are called 'timecoded' vinyl, or CDs. These have a digital signal on them, which gets read by the little box, and then sent, through the mixer, to your computer. It lets you manipulate mp3s and digital sound files as if they were vinyl, using real vinyl on real decks.

wrong! all the connections made using turntables is also used to connect CDJs, you still use the Thru outputs to play regular CDs as if you were using turntables to play regular vynils

the serato box has 4 outputs, 2 line outputs, and 2 thru outputs, if your using the time coded CDs your using the "line" output, if you wanna use a normal vynil you can switch your mixer to "Phono" and the signal from the vynil goes through the box and transmitted as a regular vynil and it will now come out the "thru" output which will play as a regular vynil instead of that particular time coded vynil/cd sound..

If they are really looking for more developers though they did a good job picking one of the two fastest growing languages on the web (python and the other even faster growing language would be ruby). Which is silly, of course. There is no single language that is best for everything. It's also worth mentioning that this marks Google's first shipped "must use Python" service. A couple other language-specific things that Google has shipped both use Java: Android and GWT. Having said that, my money is on Java as the next language environment they make available for this service. It's heavily used within Google, and is a no-brainer to get a huge number of web app developers using the service.

I have one and the GPS charges $0 a month if you don't want the pointless voice commands. the stylist / touch capabilities leave your phone scratched up and and always dirty, keeping your fingers on the buttons and away from the screen is one of the smartest choices nokia has ever made. Hey all, I apologize that the audio sometimes got flaky. We literally grabbed a video camera and said "How many videos can we shoot in an hour?" TheredGuy, it's correct that the algorithm decides which web pages will get sitelinks for which queries. There's no way for a webmaster to force it to trigger. I modified a canoe with two electric trolling motors that are controlled with a wii nunchuck via custom software on an arduino board. Robot servos and a battle bot motor driver control direction and speed. Two golf cart batteries allow for about 6 - 8 hours of cruising with a top speed of 4 miles per hour.

Nice it's surprising what 2 electric motors can do handling wise over one. Short of a internal combustion motor, thats the best handling I've ever seen in a boat. It'd be great for navigating in shallow water, where theres a lot of debris. People will pay good money to have that mounted on their canoe, jon boat, kayak or any other small freshwater vessel with a shallow draft. If you found a way to market that, it could be the future of waterfowl and fishing boats.

True, The physical thing will HAVE to remain, in order to preserve the 'feel' of anything. It doesn't matter how great a synth electric guitar sound is, it will NEVER match the real thing. A sampler is a different beast entirely, but yeah, I agree. The ds has a mic, so why not use it? I'm hoping that sonomawireworks will port their four-track recorder to the ds. They recently (about four days ago) released a four-track recorder for the iphone and itouch. I don't know if the card slot on the back of the ds can be used for peripheral connectivity or not, but if so, it would be nice for someone to marry the two.

Had no idea these existed until about an hour ago when I saw one on youtube. Anyway, just ordered one off amazon! About 35 bucks, shipped! Sweet deal considering I was just looking at about 200 bucks for the kaoscillator. I'm sure the KO provides a little bit more in terms of functionality, but hey, for 35 bucks this just can't be beat, especially considering that ten years ago you couldn't get something like this for less than 100 times that amount!

Oh yeah definitely, although you never know should this sell well we might see another KORG 2 game with more options such as a vocal option via the mic(there is the mic afterall) In saying that, for the record I did some more research on here and found a guy who made a song with the KORG DS and then added his vocals via that game Electroplanton and then mixed it on his PC/MP3. If I find the vid again I'll post it or send it to you, it's pretty cool. Nintendo games are really cool.

if they ever make a sequel on a souped up DS version or something (which i kind of doubt will happen since its surprising that they even started making innovative games marketed towards creative people again at all- long time since mario paint) they need to make it so the microphone can record & sequence samples, and they need to have midi & usb wireless interface modems so you can upload your songs to a software bundle & burn them to CD

Yeah, totally agree. So happy to see finally there's something that allows us to literally create our own beats, music from scratch. This thing also looks like it takes practice and skill to make something cool. But at the same time can toy, play around with : ) Novem 4th in USA huh Wildman? Few weeks away. The only thing missing I see is a "vocal" option to ass your own vocals, otherwise this thing looks awesome.

Johnny's an excellent actor. I think if his character had called for more expression like Charlie Chaplin, then he would have done it, definitely. But his character was almost shy in his comedy. It worked well here :) but you can't beat the original! Chaplin of course did it better than Johnny. I think Johnny wasn't trying to beat him; he was just paying respects to a unique and groundbreaking actor who shaped hollywood into what it is today.

He had actually written a bit of the letter before Joon started writing for him. He was probably made fun of when he was a kid because it's harder for him to write and write because of his dyslexia so he doesn't want to write anything for fear of being laughed at. They don't need to *say* that he was dyslexic for it to be that way. And, if you know the signs, it's quite easy to tell that he is.

i don't remember them *saying in the film* that he was dyslexic. the fact that Joon writes the letter *for* Depp's character says a lot - it says he can't write; you see him struggle for quite a few minutes on one word. and he can't fill in his application either. i'd say it's cuz he can't read. he can write his name & that's about it

:/ LMFAO i'm baffled at how you come to that conclusion, rosethorn18. when i was 3, and couldn't read, it didn't matter how large the letters were. i didn't yet know my letters, sounds, etc. enough to put together words, let alone a lot of words themselves to be able to read. meaning = size of letters matters NOT when it comes to knowing words. if you know the word, you can read it. if you don't well then you're not gonna know what it says no matter how big it's written
