I'm talking about the Federal Income Tax. Police are paid by local taxes, roads by gasoline tax, schools by property tax, etc. The Federal Income Tax is a voluntary tax. There is no law that states we must pay it or fill out a 1040. Our country has been in existence longer without the tax than with the tax. 67M have stopped paying because they realized that it was a voluntary tax. Citizens get no benefits from this tax.

For example, based on a regular 2,000 calorie a day diet, if all you ate was McDonald's, but you only ate 1500 calories worth of it (about 3 cheeseburgers) then you would loose weight. Likewise, if you only ate fruit, but you ate 2,500 calories worth of fruit (16 large apples) then you would gain weight. People don't understand that weight only has to do with calories. (Of course eating bad foods causes OTHER problems down the road.)

The problem with hypnosis is that it's only temporary ... just like a fad diet. Wouldn't everyone much rather make a conscious choice over healthy eating over hypnosis? That way you'd be permanently in control rather than think you'd have to rely on hypnosis.

Hypnosis is amazing. I've done it with my therapist a couple of times and because of it I've been able to stop cutting (that's been a HUGE problem of mine since I was about 13 years old--I'm 19). Hypnosis...I can't describe how it feels like but it's just fantastic, you go under and when you wake up you really feel like you're being pulled up from the depths of your mind. I love it and would do it every day if I could!
