I really love this video and the message it sends out. Although it's promoting a raw lifestyle, it doesn't pull you in through glitz and unbelievable promises. It provides you info thru science and personal experience. It doesn't promote a pill or a miracle cure, just a healthier way of eating. Although, I do wish the youtube user allowed the physician to finish at the end to furthur explain her case on cooked foods. It's better to have both sides of the story to build your own opinion. =)

I eat raw, organic eggs, cheese/milk, and fish and I get my protein that way. I also know man vegans that are unhealthy. It's how you PROCESS the food, not the food in it's natural state itself. I do it because kale and collard greens taste like crap by themselves, but if you mix them with an apple an a banana in your blender, it totally hides the taste and you get some healthy greens with your breakfast. I love food from allover the world and have eaten in Saudi Arabia, Japan, Thailand & England. While all cultures have high and low points in cuisine I found my self going hungry in England rather then eat English food. I'm not knocking the Brits, great people and country. But the food STINKS! 100 mudbugs, a six pack of real beer, and a bottle of tobasco sauce and I'm in heaven. America has been saturated with crappy food. I agree. I walk everywhere, even though I have a car. Then I jog on the weekends but walking DOES work, you just have to go the distance. You don't have to be a jogger to do long distance walking. Hell, it used to be popular during the Victorian era, just walking long distance. I've more than twenty miles IN THE WINTER once. It was dumb but fun.

yea its just part of the fad. i mean if you dont do anything in your life with cardio involved theres no real reason to. it actually burns more muscle then fat for a while so its counterproductive some time. thats why sprinters are beasts and long distance guys are like gazeles. so yea, i say dont do cardio unless youre playing a sport at the time. cardio for cardios sake has always seemed silly.

just a little tip for any big fella out there wanting to loose some weight. start lifting. us big folks gain muscle mass so much easier then little folks so take advantage of it. lifting of any kind boosts metabolism as well so if you cant run so well youll still be getting some benefits from the heart rate and metabolism boost. sure it sucks that we gain more fat as well, but gaining muscle easier is a nice trade off. so if youre big, dont fight it, run with it. good luck folks.

No but I actually studied proper exercise and fitness over a period of years at a university...I have nothing to sell but a lot that I've gained by proper diet and exercise...and it pisses me off that people out there continue to spread bullshit when they don't know the first thing about proper exercise and diet. To sum things up: Take in 65-70% Carbohydrates, 15-20% Fat (limit sat. fat to 10%), and 12-15% protein. Then engage in proper aerobic & anaerobic exercise 2-5 times per week.
