If anyone in college, or any other form of art and comunication studies, gave this kind of advice to studentes, their jobs would be immensely easier and the rate of success muche greater. I´veoften wondered why no one has ever thought of explaining the WHY of things. Thank you Ira.

Thanks Ira, I really enjoyed listening to segment when you were 27 after 8 years in the business. It appeared to me that you were trying to follow the example of other reporters vs. being Ira Glass. It is so true of life in general, we see people who have what we want so we imitate them. What we must do is find the person we want to be in ourselves, and be that person. There in lies the secret to success.
