I have seen David live twice over the summer and he's awesome. He does put on a good show. He chats with the audience, jumps up the rails, wears nice tight pants, and he sings with a lot of passion and emotion. He feeds off the energy of the audience. Check out his recent Hard Rock gigs for the David Wright Gala and his CD signing party. He gave mini concerts and his new band is smoking too.

Beautiful song, beautiful man, beautiful performance!! It just goes to show the judges aren't always right. David Cook can sing his heart out and we all recognized that. No matter what the choice of music was each week, he was fantastic. Simon actually thought David Cook was the most deserving contestant and said so in a few television interviews prior to the big finale.
