its a standard feature on windows it should be in the control panel under user accounts and then it saves your password on thumb drive.

Excellent video posted....i forgot my user password and i was logged out of my window. I followed these instructions and i managed to recover my administrator as well as user password to default. Thank you so much fibramarcia !!!

it would be better if this could let you backup the SAM file or wherever the md5 pass is located and then blank the password, when you are done with the admin account, restore the password and when the admin tries to log on, his password will be the same! and yes this comment was regarding hacking (for educational purposes only of course ;).
