Tabla is def not a turkish instrument, it's indian. I respect it too GSingh, I play Dholak for about 13 years and that's very powerfull as it fills up the music like a drumsystem. In my opinion tabla has more high freq tunes so it is great for accents in hiphop beats and also good for bhangra fx XD

Well, I just use a large-ish spoon. You want to combine the ingredients quickly and gently so that the texture stays nice 'n light...but I'm sure you could use your hands if you are quick (because they are warm)...with whichever you are most comfortable! I made some buttermilk biscuits a couple nights ago and they were yummy! Warm from the oven with butter...ooooh good! Very quick and easy! Thanks!

Made this recipe for my grandmother who used to always make me and my sisters rice cake, and she loved it. My sister, who is more impartial, agreed that it tasted great. Only thing, the filling amount ended up being 4x the dough amount and 2x the outside powder amounts. Also, my balls turned out rather lumpy which I attribute to my inexperience making dduk.
