Organized religion and superstitious beleifs are garbage, i think we`re capable of understanding so much more. If it wasn`t for religion makeing us focus our efforts on war, and serving to create a medium for social control and a dumbed down population, i think the space race would of had us living on mars by now, Strait Up.

but perhaps the most interesting thing about a quantum leap is that during the commencement of such, the participant must utter the phrase "..oh boy"

Makes such sense. When we get sick it's really just a biological way to get attention. Our minds are what makes us sick (except when we really do get sick) and it makes sense that with the more attention that you get from the doctor you feel better. Then you can go home and everyone feels sorry for you, buy you flowers, send you cards, come and see you when they otherwise have no good excuse to. Remarkable. Sort of like not wanting to go to school and pretending to be sick.

By: timetraveler2006. on 09 Nov 08, 00:54:43
Um, if we go down all the way to atoms and quarks, well, everything becomes discontinuous. So thoughts, which you say are neurons firing in sequence, are thus the result of quantum leaps- or discontinuities, something that happens all the time. whatever makes us happy :D
By: mattyrm. on 07 Nov 08, 17:09:38
That this shit gets paid for by the NHS when they wont provide cancer drugs is an absolute fucking disgrace. And i arrogantly presumed that it was only the USA that had a problem with hocus pocus and magic. Looks like were all screwed. Insanity and dogma and irrational behaviour is taking over! :D
By: ADVOCCCAT. on 06 Nov 08, 06:36:28
I tried homeopathy with booze. It didn't work. Proofe enough for me(:
By: thkaal1. on 04 Nov 08, 23:56:37
Um, thoughts are not discontinuous. The pathways of the neurons firing in sequence, thus it has a continuous property.
By: DeadlyChinchilla. on 03 Nov 08, 20:41:43
So, if the medicine is more powerful the more diluted it is... then... isn't it the MOST powerful when it isn't there at all? Homeopathy is just freakin' weird...
