Mashup With ASP.NET 2.0 Web Parts
Posted by: robrobbins
Video duration: 594 seconds
This video demonstrates a custom mashup I created using the new web parts technology in ASP.NET 2.0. I used the Stickam, LiveVideo, and YouTube developer APIs to create web parts that display featured videos and other information. I also created web parts to show RSS feeds from blogs and the local weather from the National Weather Service.

YouTube On A Pocket PC
Posted by: robrobbins
Video duration: 224 seconds
I managed to convert some YouTube videos to the WMV format so I can watch them on my Pocket PC. I plan to take this on the YouCruise so I can show other passengers some videos if they don't know what YouTube is. Windows Movie Maker has a setting to export videos for the Pocket PC. You can get a DELL Axim like this one for only $100 on eBay. The audio is terrible because it has a tiny speaker.

What this adviser to this Bush administration is saying is; "Yeah, it depends on what the President wants. In some situations it might be okay to "crush a child's testicles". Is it not obvious this is (was) a criminal administration?!

Yes, let's imprison a man for his opinion! until he attempts to do anything, it's illegal.

In the full length clip after Yoo states his last remark you hear a room full of people laugh. That's even sicker.

Hey asshole is it ok to torture Americans. A crime is crime not matter whose doing it. This fucker should be in jail. And so should Bush. What gave the US the right to do this.

Anyone involved in the torture of children...well that just makes me sick to my stomach and outraged. These sickos deserve nothing short of the death penalty for committing treason.
By: bogon5dot. on 06 Jul 08, 15:20:03
"I think that torture is only acceptable if you have a scenario in which the clock is ticking and you don't have much time." The problem with this loophole is that it's what's been used on so many innocent people to get them to confess to anything. This one guy was a taxi driver and was tortured into confessing that he was Osama Bin Laden's driver. Then he was given the choice - plead guilty and you get a lawyer, plead not guilty and you get no lawyer and more torture. He plead not guilty.

That would be torture under John Yoos interpretation.
By: bogon5dot. on 06 Jul 08, 15:14:08
I thought Yoo defined torture to mean anything that causes organ failure or death? Would not crushing a child's testicles cause organ failure? And this guy is a law professor? I hope John Yoo gets convicted of war crimes and gets sent up to the slam for the rest of his life. He might learn to enjoy having his nuts bitten by a dog while he crawls on the ground naked. Or he might enjoy having the head crusher find a new orifice for him.

Well ... Camp Iguana was specially set up so that they can torture children in front of their parents.

diiiiiisssssgusssssting! Bush likes being symbollockly buried in a coffin in his playground at Bohemia Grove - so bury his ass there already before he gets to the kids! NO ONE NO ONE has the right to torture a child under any circumstances EVER.Holy shit! THis is the President of the USA?????? Land of the free home of the Brave??? Why is he doing this? WHY?

By: mcalien24. on 03 Jun 08, 15:57:24
we prosecuted the japanese for waterboarding US soldiers. and the only immenent threat they faced were two atomic bombs. so the precendent we set is, we can prosecute for torture even if it was done when the "clock is ticking" Or does that only apply to the rest of the world? we are such hypocrites

The Democrats aren't supporting the Bush Administration. They are constantly fighting with the Republicans in Congress over issues that mean nothing and they simply aren't getting anything done. This is not about impeachment, and if you look at it in terms of "If you don't want to impeach him, then you support him," your point of view is no different than that of the Bush Doctrine. Just because they aren't going to impeach him, doesn't mean that they support him.
