Featuring a young Steve Porcaro {keyboards for TOTO, Herb Alpert, Pablo Cruise, Brothers Johnson, etc.} on synthesizers along with a rockin' lady cowbell player ;-) Awesome Minimoog bass. Yep, not only was he the keyboardist in Spooky Tooth, but he was the co-lead vocalist. Listen to his heart-wrenching vocals on "Waiting For The Wind," from the absolute classic Spooky Two!

Bad Ass. What the hell happened to music? I was 2 years old when this aired but i was born 20 years too late. IMO the 70's had the best music by far. When everyone in the band plays an instrument and sings its just so much more dynamic.

This live performance surpasses the studio version. Great rock performance without an electric guitar. Terrific.

I think that's correct. Anyone - if you've not listened to Spooky Tooth, do so!

I need to get some more of his music. This song and Dream Weaver were great songs, but unfortunately, they received so much airplay back in the day, not much of his other music ever was heard. Shame...

This dude is one of the best keyboard players that ever lived. Check out his songs on Rhapsody if you have Rhapsody..... If you don't get it or try it from someone who does. The sound on this video does Gary no justice... Wish I could play like that .....

You mean like Boston and The Sweet. In the day they were too "Corporate". Today who would you rather listen too The Sweet or friggin Beyonce'! Have you seen her DTV ad? Totally sell out.

you are absolutely right. during this era you actually had to play and sing. there was no cut and paste editing in pro tools or logic. today there are soooooo many singers that just suck and some truly sucky production as well.

Thank you, I always preach that one to these kids today who are into Brittany, Miley Cyrus, Jonas Brothers, and all the pretty pretty people who look great on video, but have no real musical talent. "Video killed the radio star."

1000% correct couldn't have said it any better myself. the whole playing field has changed. Today to get maximum exposure in pop culture, you have to be a supermodel who can sing. That is a nearly totally a FACT. There are exceptions of course but not many.
