1:30 to 1:34... are those Manson's albums on the left wall? I'm pretty sure I saw Smells Like Children and Antichrist Superstar...

...then those girls realize that I'm just a dork and they slap me and dump me and the whole thing starts over again. It's good for the work.

As an artist I also have a lot of problems relating to "normal" people so I often find myself alone, naturally, making art and music. (Sometimes it makes money!). It's this kind of respectful interviewing that is incredibly helpful to me to feel okay and keep doing my work. It goes in cycles and after some productive time alone I've got a body of work to share and celebrate ...and get laid with attractive young girls.

...this is far delayed. but i agree in general with alot of music from the 90s.. its just not as raw as it used to be. im so glad i got to grow up thru the 90s... thats what drives me to do music today. 90s stuff and before.

He seems like such a sincere, honest, intelligent, articulate person. Its a shame he hasn't passed on the musical genius genes yet !Seriously though, imagine being so successful but still so lonely. His fragile era interviews seem miserable...

Maybe I'm a moron, but I never thought about that before.)

Wow, I really like your point about how his earlier reputation affects him now. You get a thumbs up for that. =)

Sadly,I agree with you .I am a hardcore NIN fan,in fact I am seeing NIN on the 29th .Although,NIN is becoming just a normal heavy rock band .I mean don't get me wrong,NIN are head and shoulder above most bands out there .I like that Trent has got his life in order, but I wish his music was a brutal as it was in the 90's

I disagree. People will inevitably say that a person whose earlier works have been praised highly's newer works are bad, but I think Reznor's newest stuff is up there with his best. In my opinion he's amazingly vital.

actually it wasnt. it didnt take that much damage at all. but he scuddled away into Los Angeles, founded another label, and now, to me, has become... grown up. Where the hell did his twisted, dark, angry side go that made me love PHM, Broken, and [WITH_TEETH]? His wierdness that made me love TDS, The Fragile, and Year Zero? Now he's become a totally different person. Ghosts I-IV is amazing, but not NIN-amazing. And The Slip's only great song was "Discipline". all the others were "eh, okay."
