Footsign, footsign....
Posted by: Otheym
Video duration: 22 seconds

This brings back memories. I remember recording this song to cassette tape so I could listen to it in my car. Awesome.

This demo brings back the memories. I watched it so many times on my old 486. Always loved it. Still one of the best demos ever.

Yeah that was bad and make it worse by living in the 80's and get on a Texas Instruments TI-84 and write a basic program to make a horse head that is the true computer survival challenge!! :-)

Man, the fact they did did that back in 1993...simulating physics and reflective surfaces that way is extremely impressive.

Not to detract from this version, because it is spectacular, but the C64 version was what really blew my socks off.

To this day I can still "sing" this music complete. Reminds me of the days when dudes used to crap their pants when they saw you running Stream Tracker and a GSZ download AT THE SAME TIME!!!

The YouTube video doesn't do it justice. Much better to Google for the actual thing and then run it inside DOSBox.

I remember this, I was about 10 at the time but this only served to pique my fond intrest in computers. Funny thing is that I will always remember these demos even withought a computer I could mentally play them to some degree.

I'm pretty sure Skaven's music at the end (which got cut off) made me buy a Gravis Ultrasound when they cost $200 and I didn't know jack about computers, IRQs, and compatibility.
By: alfhelge. on 05 Nov 08, 20:44:26
It could run on a 386 too. We even had to buy an 200 dollar sound card to it too... Thought I'd never see this again except on my old 386 which still runs!! :-)!!

In early 90's I was a ZX Spectrum guys and when somebody showed me this I was absolutely gobsmacked. Like "How the f... they're doing this!" Amazing job! Thanks for upload! It's still quite impressive. Even after 15 years!!

I have fond memories of this demo, and tinkering with the different options on the boot screen (sound and graphics combinations.) It was also a great way to impress friends who liked computers.

This is awesome. Totally brings back memories from the early 90's. To this day, the music Purple Motion made sounds great. This totally blew me away on my old 486!!!

I can see you when you were 9, connecting to the bbs with your 2400 baud modem and searching for the latest releases in the demoscene! :D ROFL
By: impero78. on 02 Oct 08, 20:30:45
45kb?? no sir, you must be wrong.. the miracle of packing a 15min demo in 64k was done 7 years later by Farbrausch, with fr-08 (.the .product)

this is PURE GENIUS!!! but I really wish they made the demos interactive,so we could really test out their power!
By: chriss179. on 19 Aug 08, 11:01:35
brings back old memories. First demo i ever saw from future crew was panic. Blew my mind. Class mate from my brother had fought in yugoslavia and bought himself a nice computer from the money he earned and started to koerier stuff for bbs systems. So the guy allways had the newest 0 day software. that was back in 93. i was used to speaker sound and upon hearing this i bought myself a soundblaster.
By: Prizm4. on 15 Aug 08, 15:15:58
Awesome. Brings back memories. This and other classic demos like Panic (Future Crew), and Juice (by Psychic Link). I produce videos now, and all the effects, timing, and music of old school demos have subconsciously influenced my video editing. Love that demo music.
