Yup, looks like the Sox are really struggling without Manny. LOL. But in all fairness I think Manny is doing just fine without the Sox as well. The trade was probably best for everyone.

Well the sox have a roster full of club house guys. That doesn't mean a pile of crap if they can't win.Bay will be ok and he was the best they could have done.I would have prefered vernon wells or grady sizemore but they weren't available. Wells actually didn't want to come to boston.Lets hope Papi's wrist is servicable or it's the shit house for the sox.

Let's not forget that raw ability to put up numbers is not the only thing that makes up a good MLB player, professionalism is a very valuable asset. He was adored by the fans because they didn't have to put up with his childish bullshit like his coaches.
By: tamapalagi. on 05 Aug 08, 17:17:47
why would you say that? Do you know him? He let the sox kmow what life is without him and it's going to get worse in beantown. Don't forget Theo Epstein left and came back. Every Sox player got blasted on there way out. I live in Connecticut and listen to the sports shows and they trashed Manny. Manny hated the microscope of Boston but he performed. He may acted immature but we all do the same things. We call out sick and loaf at work. He was unjustly criticized away from the park.

Does anyone here actually own one of these who could give me some legitimate feedback, or maybe a comparison to the SoloHitter?
By: baseballgeek27. on 05 Aug 08, 02:41:18
Yeah, he knows how to hit, but he's a total ass. He's any good coach's worst nightmare.

i think the quickswing is a nice piece of equipment, but why pay $100 for it? same with all these other hitting products... you could easily build the same thing for a fraction of the cost and itd take you less time than overnight shipping. just my opinion.
